Faeza Sirajudin

Faeza has been an educator since 1997, having taught in public, private and international schools. She believes education has to be forward-minded to remain relevant in the changing world. As the co-owner of a successful private school, she developed a curriculum which focussed on literacy development through critical and creative thinking skills. For this curriculum, she created and wrote over 1000 lesson plans which include elements of gamification and interactive classroom activities, believing no learning can take place in a static environment. As the Middle School Coordinator in an International School, she revamped the English curriculum to be more in-line with 21st Century needs, focussing on the application of skills rather than the acquisition of content. Her 20+ years of experience in the education service has shown her how a limited education system can cause stagnation but how a creative and interactive one can lead to innovation and positive change. Using everything she has learnt from her many years of experience in education and working with young people, she has also designed several board games which she uses to emphasise the inculcation of soft skills such as collaboration, risk management, and empathy in children and teenagers.

Sunita Venkataraman

Sunita Venkataraman has been a senior executive at one of the largest technology firms in the world. She specializes in market and consumer insights and analytics, an area that has given her a ringside view of the changes that technology is bringing about in the workplace as well as what the workplace of the future might look like and demand. She is a frequent speaker at global conferences on how marketing and insights can leverage AI and Digital Transformation. Sunita has lived in India, Singapore and the US, and has worked in markets across the globe. Having worked with an inter-generational group of knowledge workers, Sunita foresees the challenges ahead of the current generations and the dichotomy between knowledge and soft skills. As a leader and a coach to her global teams, Sunita strongly encourages lifelong learning and values curiosity and ability to collaborate, over technical skills.
